Scoring for Materia Magazine’s short film ‘A Sauna Built on Sand’. We integrated field recordings from ‘El Papelillo’, a primitive sauna on the coast of Oaxaca, conceptualized by Tezontle during their residency at Casa Wabi. The use of textural ambience combined with repetitive melodies magnify the ritualistic architectural atmosphere.
